Asia-Pacific
The MESA APAC Expansion Committee is seeking to expose MESA International's work in manufacturing more broadly into the Asia-Pacific Region with the intent of attracting new members of all types, and providing content for the MESA Strategic Initiatives.
Our objectives are to grow our Working Groups, to grow the paying memberships, to move from purely exposure activities to MSI content creation, to host an APAC MESA Conference and to facilitate forums to provide information and direction for end users and allow refinement of MES offerings amongst the vendor community.
Asia-Pacific (APAC) Baseline Survey
The MESA Asia-Pacific Expansion Committee has recently launched a survey in order to provide baseline information on MES in APAC. This information will be collated in a report and presented at MESA conferences over the next year.
Making this information available will raise the visibility and profile of the importance of MES. The information will also be valuable to end-users in targeting and justifying MES projects and to vendors and consultants in identifying where they should focus development efforts.
Questions about the survey can be directed to MESA's Asia-Pacific Expansion Committee Chair, Greg Johnson.
ALL PARTICIPANT RESPONSES WILL BE AGGREGATED AND KEPT COMPLETELY CONFIDENTIAL. No specific data from your response will be shared outside of MESA International.
Survey Length: 20 questions; 3-5 minutes

MESA India Organizes Networking Dinner in Pune on 11th December MESA members in India got together for a networking dinner in Pune on 11th December. The following members were present at this meeting:
Apart from the introductions, the members talked about their current work areas. It was a very informative session with lots of knowledge sharing around solutions for manufacturing operations management in the context of India and current economic scenario. Members felt that such sessions are very useful from a knowledge sharing perspective. The members agreed that such meetings should be organized at least once a quarter and themes for the sessions can be aligned with the strategic initiatives of MESA. The next networking session of MESA India (Pune Chapter) will be organized in March 2010. For more information, contact india@mesa.org. |
